I PAY FOR YOUR GROSS CLITLICKING: Tax Day rallies are taking place around the country by LGBT activist: "As LGBT Americans, we work hard, take care of our families, and pay our taxes every year. Yet, our families are not included in the very policies we help fund. Our loved ones are treated like legal strangers and denied the economic protections given to our heterosexual counterparts."
PARK PLACE: All that vandalism at the Matthew Shepard memorial park in West Hollywood was caused by a transient.
A BEAUTIFUL GAY FOR AN EASTER EGG HUNT: Gay families partook at The White House Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn this morning. The President read Maurice Sendak's Where The Wild Things Are to the kiddos.
DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY: This Wednesday, bar owners and Boycott Jamaica activist will engage in a "rum dump" in front of NY's Stonewall Inn. The cause will draw light to Jamaica and its homophobic oppression:
"The bar’s owners and boycott supporters will dump Jamaican liquor – Red Stripe beer and Myers’ Rum – down the sewer. Human rights activists have given Jamaica the infamous title: 'The Most Homophobic Place on Earth.' Gay people have regularly been beaten and murdered on the island, while authorities do little to stop the violence. We, as the owners of the Stonewall Inn, birthplace of the Gay rights movement, refuse to support, in any way, shape or form, the oppression of any people especially our gay brothers and sisters in Jamaica,' the Stonewall Inn said in its statement. 'We ask all people of all walks of life to send a clear message to the Jamaican people and their government, that as long as they continue to allow and condone violence and hatred toward the Gay community, we will neither buy their products nor support their tourist trade. To do so is to tacitly support the current climate of oppression.'"
The "Rum Dump" will take place at 6:30 pm on Wednesday at 53 Christopher Streeet.

MAINE EVENT: The Augusta Civic Center will hold a hearing on a proposal sponsored by 60+ lawmakers that would repeal a state law limiting marriage to a male and a female and rewriting its language authorizing a marriage between two people on April 22nd. The hearing is expecting a mass crowd.
LIAR, LIAR, PANTS ON FIRE: Pastor Rick Warren cancels his appearance on This Week with George Stephanopolous only minutes before the interview. Warren cited "sick with exhaustion" to ABC.
The real reason is he would have to answer to his conflicting statements that he gave on California's Proposition 8 and same-sex marriage. He told Larry King last week: "You know, Larry, there was a story within a story that never got told. In the first place, I am not an anti-gay or anti-gay marriage activist. I never have been, never will be. During the whole Proposition 8 thing, I never once went to a meeting, never once issued a statement, never -- never once even gave an endorsement in the two years Prop 8 was going."
In fact: Pastor Warren did post a video before the Prop 8 election, saying that he did support Prop 8 and roused voters to do the same.
