A few months back, Marc Jacobs entire spring (2012) line was stolen in route to London via Paris.
The thief/thieves snagged the whole 46-piece collections. Handbags and shoes included.
The villain is still at large. Jacobs displayed a wanted poster complete with illustration of the suspect at his New York store window.
Even, a marketing gimmick was hatched: Jacobs printed up "wanted" t-shirts with said illustration available for sale.
Jacobs quipped cheekily, consider the crook "dressed to kill."
