Quentin Tarantino and Brad Pitt plan to "take a meeting" in France.
Pitt is Tarantino's first choice as the lead in his planned World War II film Inglorious Bastards.
Tarantino would like to start filming in October.
Once Pitt does decide to ink the lead, the script will be shopped to several Hollywood studios.
