At age 76, actress Rue McClanahan suffered a massive stroke about 1am Thursday morning and passed away.
Our hearts are heavy.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.
Fellow costar and friend Betty White opined: "Rue was a close and dear friend. I treasured our relationship. It hurts more than I even thought it would, if that's even possible."
A very sad day for Hollywood.
