DRUNK ON BRANDY

Seeing this made us fall even deeper in love with Brandy Cakes.

He performs one of our favorite 80s tune, Bette Davis Eyes, with such class and talent.

Not a hint of cheesiness.

Brandy is at another level.

We just love our Indie Rocker!!

BETTER TO GIVE THAN RECEIVE

GIVE IT TO US, BABY!!

So metaphorical: a beautiful lad stroking his guitar.....

Brandy Cakes is a giver not a taker.

With the drop of his album, Flamingo, only a month away, The Killers frontman confesses that most of the songs on his solo album were for the band not for himself.

Quips our sexy leadvox, "I've only ever known The Killers.....So it was strange once it became apparent I was doing this alone."

JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH

Roses are red

and sometimes yellow

we just can't get enough

of this Flowers fellow

Brandon Flowers

Brandy Cakes covers the new Electronic Musician.

Can we get a daily somethin' somethin' from Brandy, a press release, one new photo a day, anything? Please!!!

That would semi-cure our needed fix for this fine lad!!

The record company wants us to notice the cover. But if you want that to happen--DON'T put Brandy in the picture!! He outshines everything.

THE PRODUCERS

We've been dying to use this picture too! A guy and his guitar--

nothing sexier, well maybe, a surfboard....

HOW DOES YOUR GARDEN GROW?:

Brandy Cakes had some mayjah producers helping him for his solo project, Flamingo.

This is who lent a helping hand to water our Flowers:

Stuart Price: producer credit for Madonna.

Daniel Lanois: producing credits for Bob Dylan and U2.

Brendan O'Brien: producing credits for Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young.

Quips our sexy leadvox about all this:

It's a pretty good line-up, I think. Stuart and Daniel have been working together, and I've done another three tracks with Brendan on his own. Jenny's helped me out on a couple of songs, and we also get to duet on the record, on a song called Hard Enough, which turned out great. She's always popped into my mind whenever I think about getting a female vocalist involved because she's a fellow child of Las Vegas, too. It's all very rooted right here in Las Vegas dirt."

We can't wait BeeBoo!! We haven't been this excited about an album drop since Berlin's Love Life. Yeah, that long ago....

HOW FLOWERS GROW

FLOWER PETALS:

He loves me, he loves me not, he loves me.....

We've been dying to use this pic of our BF!!

Brandy Cakes does a presser for the mag NME. His solo project Flamingo is about to drop.

Here are some deets:

On going solo:
"To be honest, I personally would prefer it if this was a Killers record. Some of these songs were originally destined to be Killers songs, but it is what it is. I certainly never sat around dreaming of going out on my own, but singing songs and writing songs, it's kind of what I do, you know? And I just don't want to stop right now."

The solo career vs. the band:
"I see this as something that will only make The Killers stronger… I feel like I'm getting something out of my system with this album, but I want the next Killers album to be a wonderful collaboration between four guys who are ready to make the best record that they possibly can."

A tour 2010?:
"Oh, hell yeah! I mean, obviously, we need to make sure that people want to hear it first. But we'll definitely be coming to the UK. And I'm up for doing the festival circuit if they want me!"

On marching forward:

"I really can't blame the other guys, but I've just got this fire in my bosom that's still burning. I'm ready to go!"
