“I have a unique family history......My parents went through internment camps during World War II and their experience has taught me to stand up for the rights of everybody – equality across the board regardless of what the issue is. This issue has come alive in the last couple of years and it’s been important to me because equality to me is the most important thing,” opines Scott Fujita on why he is so vocal on LGBT equality issues.

WELL SAID:

Guys are a lot more accepting and tolerant than they get credit for....It’s not across the board, but more than likely there are more players who respect that I’m standing up for what I believe in, rather than those guys who might say I must be a fag. I haven’t gotten any of that,” quips NFLer Scott Fujita to Outsports on his professional football peers.
