VOGUE MEN

ROLE PLAY:

In the October 2012 issue of VOGUE, Jakey Pooh glosses the editorial pages.

Wearing jeans and a T-shirt, he has the broad, rugged physique of an action hero and an open, preternaturally youthful face.  The eyes are big and sad and blue, with a hint of something rascally, pens the article's author, Adam Green.

THUNDER DOWN UNDER

Jakey Pooh covers GQ Australia:

Writes Nick Smith, the editor, about Jakey:

“He started out playing Billy Crystal’s son in City Slickers. Twenty years later, Gyllenhaal is still one of Hollywood’s hottest properties. His career judgment has been impeccable....Gyllenhaal’s personal style is similarly flawless: the guy knows how to wear a suit … Tuxes are never a problem and he’s equally adept at a motorcycle-cut leather jacket, slim-cut jeans and Wayfarers. He seems unassuming, but you never forget the star power that lies beneath...."

JAKE GYLLENHAAL'S TEDDY BEAR

THE SKIN TRADE:

Jake and Bear battle the wild.

Even in Iceland, freezing weather doesn't stop these two studs sans shirts from crossing a river whilst holding hands. Awwww, how romantical!!

A butch couple's honeymoon!!

WILL JAKE GYLLENHAAL USE AN ENEMA?

Bear Grylls has that show Man vs. Wild.

Jake Gyllenhaal will be a guest on the new season for an episode about "surviving" in an Icelandic snow cave. Really, how much peril is there if a film crew is there?

Jake will follow Bears lead in dealing with the cold, the snow, and the harsh conditions of Iceland. Jake will go where Bear goes and eat whatever Bear eats.

Quips Grylls:

"A couple of weeks ago I took Jake Gyllenhaal, reportedly the fittest man in Hollywood, on a Born Survivor to Iceland. He said he wanted to to be pushed and afterwards said he'd never been pushed so hard.....We had crazy conditions - sleeping in snow caves, huge river crossings and these torrential storms. I was a little bit nervous as I promised Jake's management team I would keep him alive, but he was brilliant.....There's something magical about the raw emotion of fear and nerves. I think that's what people like about the show."

The show will air July 11th.

We wonder if Bear will show Jake how to hydrate via an enema?:

JAKEY POOH

Who cares about what, when, where, and why!!
