This blog noted earlier that Queer as Folk alum Randy Harrison was going to star in a play about Andy Warhol.

The stage performance is titled, Pop, about an incident from the life of the famed artist.

The show opens this Friday in New Haven, CT.

Randy Harrison (Queer as Folk alum) is playing pop artist Andy Warhol in the world premiere of Pop.

The whodunit tuner bows in November at New Haven's Yale Repertory Theater.

Fellow thesps will include:  Doug Kreeger, Danny Binstock and Brian Charles Rooney.

Dates:  11/27-12/19.
