The Feds raided Gibson Guitar headquarters in Nashville, TN looking for a specific kind of wood (Madagascan rosewood smuggled from Germany) that may have been used.
Under the Lacey Act, which enables federal officials to hinder trafficking of illegal wildlife, plants and fish, officials seized wood, computers, files and guitars from the headquarters.
Gibson released a statement stating they fully cooperated with the authorities.
