We are receiving a first look at Daniel Day- Lewis as Abraham Lincoln, a Steven Spielberg vehicle four years in the making.
Day-Lewis is one of those excellent thespians, like Meryl Streep, who can make their face and body like a blank canvas and totally copy and embody any person they choose. A real gift.
Deadline lists other actors involved in the project: Sally Field, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tommy Lee Jones, John Hawkes, Hal Holbrook, James Spader, Tim Blake Nelson, David Strathairn, Jackie Earle Haley and David Oyelowo.
