Who knew that such a shallow little show would get so political?
Last night's waltz told a story of an interracial couple in the 60s who can't get married.
Nash becomes silent and gives shade to everyone after the dance touting that she could not imagine marrying the person she loves.
Louis van Amstel retorts "I hear you. I'm still in that boat. So, we've come a long way, but you've got to help me fight my battle too."
Later he adds "Everybody should be able to get married."
The post show interview van Amstel says to Nash "Well at least you can get married."
