Rafa Cakes blasted Nole Cakes off the court in two sets at Monte Carlo. The Serb was left to melt away from the thermal heating or should we say beating?!
This makes Rafa's 8th consecutive win at Monte Carlo, on clay, his beloved surface.
The score was 6-3, 6-1.
Rafa hasn't had a title win in 10 months.
Last week, Nole lost his grandfather. A devastating loss for the Djokovic family. We're sure it was tough for Nole to concentrate on anything especially tennis. Add clay and Rafa to the mix, it proved too much for our Serbian stud.
