PURE GENIUS

This is at the Carrousel du Louvre Apple store in Paris.

Can we get the lad on the left to help us?

Our French is a little rusty thus come closer, closer, closer and speak slowly......

PITCH A TENT, STAY A WHILE

CAMP GROUNDS:

Click on over to figure out which DADT  repeal camp U are in?

2) The "it's all a lie" crowd: The compromise is a complete sham and betrayal of those serving in silence. Anything coming out of the press releases lauding the vote is skimming over the ugly truth. The MSM is making it all worse, and there's anger about how easily the progressives are fooled and don't dig deep to see the injustice that will continue. You can't trust the orgs, the admin, the Pentagon or Congress. A vein might explode.

We're for Camp Snoopy.....

SAY WHAT?

KOOKY UNKLE KARL:

"It is so chic and pretty. I would like to have one — not to wash clothes but to put in my dressing room to hold my dirty laundry," quips designer Karl Lagerfeld about machine washers.

MOVIN ON UP

Our dark-haired Serbian sexcicle Nole Cakes (#3) defeats Kei Nishikori of Japan:  6-1, 6-4, 6-4.

Nole moves up a notch to the third round.

The third seed had to work hard during the two hour 40 minute contest and was relieved to seal victory in straight sets against a tigerish opponent ranked down at 246.

Djokovic, playing a day late after the match fell foul of the weather on Thursday, dominated for two sets but the 20-year-old Nishikori, the youngest player to reach the second round, produced some stubborn late resistance.

Djokovic had to save several break points at 3-4 in the third set and ended the match looking a little battle-weary after a heavy tumble left the back of his shirt caked in red clay dust.

GO NOLE!
GO NOLE!
GO NOLE!
GO NOLE!

This will be a fun weekend to watch The French Open, with all the hot cock playing:  Djokovic, Ginepri,  Nadal, Verdasco,  and Cilic.

SAY WHAT?

"I have long advocated that we repeal ‘Don’t Ask Don’t Tell’, and I am pleased that both the House of Representatives and the Senate Armed Services Committee took important bipartisan steps toward repeal tonight. Key to successful repeal will be the ongoing Defense Department review, and as such I am grateful that the amendments offered by Representative Patrick Murphy and Senators Joseph Lieberman and Carl Levin that passed today will ensure that the Department of Defense can complete that comprehensive review that will allow our military and their families the opportunity to inform and shape the implementation process. Our military is made up of the best and bravest men and women in our nation, and my greatest honor is leading them as Commander-in-Chief. This legislation will help make our Armed Forces even stronger and more inclusive by allowing gay and lesbian soldiers to serve honestly and with integrity,"  quips President Obama on all of yesterday's progressive legislative gains in repealing DADT.

DADT MOVES PAST HOUSE OF REP.

A vote of 234-194  in the House of Representative approved the amendment repealing DADT.

NOW the amendment will be attached to the 2011 Department of Defense Authorization Bill.

This is a surprise, 5 Republicans allied with the Dems in approving the measure:

Judy Biggert- Illinois

Joseph Cao- Louisiana

Charles Djou- Hawaii

Ron Paul- Texas

Ileana Ros-Lehtinen- Florida

OUR MAYNE MAN EDDIE REDMAYNE

We think Eddie Redmayne is adorbs.  We don't know if it is his sprinkle of freckles on that well- scrubbed face or those hot bee stung, suckable lips--- probably the combination of both.   And being British doesn't hurt-- we're crazy for those lads.

He's been in a number of projects:  Savage Grace, The Good Shepherd and Powder Blue.

He even modeled several seasons for some Burberry campaigns.

Vanity Fair has a quick profile of the thespian since he is nominated for a Tony  for best performance by a featured actor in Red:

Play: Red, a bio-drama about artist Mark Rothko and his assistant, Ken.

Role: Ken. Age: 28.

Hometown: London, England.

Earliest Broadway memory: “I came to New York when I was about 13 years old, and I was taken to see The Fantasticks.” Most terrifying Broadway memory: “Walking down the stairs for the Gypsy dress rehearsal, opening the door to the back of the theater, and hearing this absolutely terrifying sound of 800 people seated in an audience. My heart sank.”

One of the many images of his campaign work for Burberry.  Eddie is on the far right:

CALL OUT

This here is Kevin Gould.

He supposedly lives right here in our neck of the woods, El Laid--which we're trying to do.

We never had the pleasure of running into this gorgeous morsel on the streets.  But we are keeping an eagle eye out for this lad from here on out.

Call us gorgeous.  We respond better to "conversation"  if it is real late at night in our bed!!!

ENDORSEMENT DEALS

What a tennis player wears on the  courts is usually free and part of their endorsement deals.

This is such the case with Rafael Nadal.

The Spaniard donned a watch specially crafted for him.

The timepiece costs $525K.  It is a RM 027 Tourbillion watch made of carbon-composite case and lithium alloys and weighs just 20 grams.

This is the first time we know of that Rafa wore a watch on the courts.  It did NOT seem to affect his game.

The tennis stud breezed past his opponent Gianni Mina:  6-2, 6-2, 6-2.
