Via iPad, Apple censors the gay comics and books, like a graphic illustration of Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest.
But the tech company does not censor the breeder books or comics, like Kick Ass.
Before I downloaded it, I had to jump through one of Apple's silly hoops, agreeing that I was over 17. It's another Apple joke, so unenforceable as to be completely ineffective, but I suppose it lets Apple cover its corporate ass. I wished Apple had given me a different warning: That the black squares it insisted on adding defaced a perfectly good graphic novel to the point of nearly ruining it.
