Variety reports that Bret will team up with Gus Van Sant to bring a Vanity Fair article to the big screen.
The Golden Suicides, inked by scribe Nancy Jo Sales, tells the story of artist/socialite couple Theresa Duncan and Jeremy Blake. Duncan designed video games and Blake created kaleidoscopic images on plasmas TVs. The couple committed a double suicide believing that the government and religious organizations were after them.
