We've been following Season 3 arduously with the first episode starting in Spring of 1963.
Last Sunday (10/11) was the 9th episode and the time reference was September. We have two months to go before that fateful day of November 23rd that brought America to its feet and in a four day coma.
Connie Hilton even made a reference on Sunday's show as Dallas being a national travel choice.
Joan got sprayed with blood from an executive's foot when a riding lawnmower ran over his limb in Sterling Cooper-- how Kennedy-esque.
Ever since the series started and the time frame was the sixties, people have been pondering how Mad Men was going to handle the assassination. We feel Matt Weiner has been pondering that same question since the series became very successful and AMC keeps ordering new episodes.
Season 2 closed at the pinnacle of the Cuban Missile Crisis.
November will bring the close of Season 3 Mad Men so we are waiting for the finale with bated breath.
