When there is talk of the term "gay icons," Newsom is one. On his command, his office started issuing marriage licenses until all the legalities stepped in and muddled the situation to what we have as of today.
YAY! for Newsom--- for being a pioneer and issuing same-sex marriage licenses and pushing our civil rights to a new level and positively forward. This man is an example of a "gay icon," not that self-hating homophobic Aaron Schock or that fat-ass straight loser like Levi Johnston, as suggested by himself and others!! These two aren't gay icons but idiots.
