The NEVER OUT gossip columnist Liz Smith has had her column dropped from The New York Post.
The daily rag declined to renew the scribes contract at $125,000 a year.
She got a Dear John letter---RUDE---.... The New York Post penned: "due to economic circumstances, they were the bearer of bad news and so forth."
The EIC of the Post, Col Allan quipped: "The Post is grateful to have been able to publish Liz Smith's legendary column for so many years. We wish her the very best for the future."
Ain't that a bitch---
You work years for somebody and suddenly I am 'Box-office poison"...like the Mommie Dearest reference?.....
Smith is working on a book and she has a website that she is part owners with so did wince too much for her
Maybe she can find a SISTER'S SHOULDER to cry on........
