DRESS TO KILL:
If Barney's New York continued to have their way, they would want your blood splattered body in a LBD by Helmut Lang gasping the last breaths of your life.
These windows displays caused customers discomfort and definitely had a creep factor to them.
After much customer complaints and careful thought, Barney's made the right decision and had the displays removed.
Simon Doonan, Barney's creative director, made this press release from across the Pond, London: "We encourage our display people to be creative. We give them a lot of latitude, but this clearly crossed the line. It's as if someone saw a bad Hitchcock movie."
