APOLOGY, I'M SORRY:
No this isn't about the great tune from The Go-Go's, it's more like David Letterman apologizing to the people of America, his current female staffers, and the wife.
His female employees have had to endure endless questions from reporters, and for that, Letterman is sorry.
Then he apologizes to the wifey; he has his work "cut out" for him on the home front.
Audience members interviewed outside the Ed Sullivan theater after Dave's show were supportive of the late night host despite his indiscretions.
