Alexander Skarsgard explains why he is on True Blood:
“It’s the fact that Alan Ball was attached to the project. When they first contacted me to tell me that they were doing a new series on vampires, I really wondered what it might look like. I even thought it was a joke! Then they told me that Alan Ball, who wrote and produced American Beauty and the HBO series Six Feet Under, was involved.”
