RECYCLED FASHION?:

We love the sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy, the dynamic duo behind the Rodarte label.  Their collaboration for Target this past December-- FABUUUUULOUS!!

But critics are already panning their menswear line, making references that it is similar to Junya Watanabe Fall 2006 line.

The blog FashionIndie reports on a comment taken from the Opening Ceremony blog:

I’m gagging at these prices!!! I do love how Rodarte has been able to take the same knit Junya Watanabe did for *Fall 2006, repackage it and sell it for thousands of dollars(a semester’s tuition btw). I’ll be looking on etsy for a knockoff of the knockoff.

ps: making the same dress every season can only get you so far.
