When Sir Ian McKellen speaks, we listen:
The thespian touted on the BBC radio that more sports figures should come out.
Yeah, more power to Gareth Thomas and the like!!
He stated that the sports world should be "ashamed of itself" for its homophobia.
He also pontificated that the acceptance and attitude toward LGBTers turns sports stars into "shrinking violets" for not coming out publicly about their sexuality.
Well said, Sir. We couldn't agree more.
