CASTING CALL: 'HICKY' BLUE COLLAR LOOK

An internal email from the National RepubliCUNT Senatorial Committee noted a casting call for 'hicky' actors for a commercial about West Virginia Gov. Joe Manchin. And the ad was shot in Philadelphia, no where near West Virginia!!

Now the NRSC wants to yank the ad, natch!!!!

We are going for a ‘Hicky’ Blue Collar look; “These characters are from West Virginia so think coal miner/trucker looks.”

“Clothing Suggestions:"

jeans, 

work boots, 

flannel shirt, 

denim shirt, 

“Dickie’s type jacket with t-shirt underneath,” 

down-filled vest,

 “John Deere [sic] hats (not brand new, preferably beat up),” 

“trucker hats (not brand new, preferably beat up).”

Since we are from Hollywood, the industry of TV and film,  we can cut through the bullshit-- every ad on TV has actors, especially political ads with "personal testimonials."  Don't ever think the ad you are seeing has "real people"  "telling"  "real stories."
