Serbia is VERY homophobic.
A gay pride march was trying to take place in Belgrade, Serbia when 6,000+ anti-gay bigoted rioters surfaced. These cads were armed with stun grenades and Molotov cocktails. Screams "death to homosexuals" could be heard.
Police in riot gear had to bring peace by using tear gas.
President Boris Tadic offered these hopeful words: "Serbia will guarantee human rights for all its citizens, regardless of the differences among them, and no attempts to revoke these freedoms with violence will be allowed."
Senior Justice Ministry official Slobodan Homen promises that most of the rioters will be identified and imprisoned. Security cameras are prevalent on the Belgade streets and these will be used to help identify all those riotous derelicts.
