Who doesn't like dramas?
Especially if you are a playwright and craft a witty tale about two arch-rival, middle-aged stars who are approached by a young producer to star and revive their stale careers like James Kirkwood did for his play, Legends.
A myriad of problems plagued the Carol Channing and Mary Martin production.
Egos hindered the Joan Collins and Linda Evans run.
NOW!!!!
Kirkwood wants to give it another try but have drag queen impersonators play the aging stars.
Charles Busch and John Epperson will take the leads along with Whoopi Goldberg and Bryan Batt.
It is only going to be for one night and a STAGED READING at that!! Monday, March 23rd. It will take place at The Town Hall and will benefit Friends In Deed.
