If you are a broker at the Corcoran Group, you will have to subscribe to not using the company's 200+ words that are now on their banned list.
One may not list a NY apartment as "professional," "exclusive," or "quiet" to name a few.
"Professional" implies that the unit is only available to people who work in a specific industry; "exclusive" could be construed as "racially exclusive."
Although no one is sure why "quiet" makes the list--maybe the other units are filled with senior citizens on their death beds???
Yet brokers can still deceive by using the word "cozy" about describing a coffin-size studio.
