AMERICAN ROYALTY:
This month marks the decade anniversary that we lost an American Prince.
John gave America hope in everything he tried to accomplish. From a little boy scampering in the Oval Office while his father worked to a young man navigating a life in the Big Apple. We all had goals for the Kennedy heir. As a collective nation, we really wanted to see him make his mark in politics eventually.
But, we rallied around him each time he tried his hand at the New York Bar Exam, we rallied behind him as EIC of George magazine, and we rallied behind him when we ran into him at a street corner in Gotham. He was one of us. He was our successes. He was our failures. We could all identify with him trying to leave his signature as a person on this earth.
John John gave all of us hope spring eternal.
A light that was diminished way too soon.
