Here are 7 things you may not know about super cute thespian Chris Pine:

1.One of his first acting jobs was a as a drunk patient on “ER” in 2003.


2. Pine and “Star Trek” bud Zachary Quinto were already pals before shooting the flick. The two worked out at the same gym.


3. Pine has a degree in English from UC Berkeley and studied acting at the University of Leeds in England. He also studied at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.


4. Appeared on an episode of “CSI: Miami” in 2003.

5. Pine’s grandmother Anne Gwynne was an actress in the 1940s and appeared in over 60 films. Gwynne was also one of the most popular pin-ups of World War II

6. “Star Trek” director J.J. Abrams (right) decided to cast Pine as James T. Kirk, instead of reported frontrunner “Cloverfield” star Mike Vogel.

7. Pine says that while growing up, he wasn’t a fan of “Star Trek.”
