Tennis and the weather is a perfect love match for Los Angeles.
With this, the City of Angels has been hosting a tennis tournament, the L.A. Open.
Big names like Tommy Haas, Marit Safin, Stefen Edberg, Jim Courier, and Michael Chang are making the rounds.
Earlier in the week Marit Safin won his match against Robby Ginepri 3-6, 6-3, 6-4; but later Safin lost to Tommy Haas.
Stephan Edberg showed some powerhouse moves that reminded all why he was name in the 80's.
A semi-final match is expected with Sam Querrey and Tommy Haas, who captured this event in 2004 and 2006. Haas is 15-4 in his career playing at the UCLA event.
In another semi-final match, Leonardo Mayer will compete against Carsten Bell. Mardy Fish withdrew due to an abdominal strain on Friday.
