Sotomayor’s Confirmation Cocktail
3-4 muddled strawberries
2 oz. premium tequila
2 oz. black-pepper sour mix
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice, chill, and strain into a martini glass rimmed with a mixture of one part black pepper, one part salt, and one part sugar.
Recipe for black-pepper sour mix:
1/3 cup black pepper
2 cups simple syrup
1 cup fresh lemon or lime juice
