The days of the investigative reporter in a trench coach with a felt hat chomping on a cigar working the city beat to get the details of an exclusive story and tapping it out on an old typewriter are LONG gone!
And now, The New York Times head honcho Arthur Sulzberger, Jr. has uttered from his lips that one day the daily will no longer be printed on paper.
Like now, it is all moving to the interdolly with a 'metered' paywall in 2011.
