This news was like an internet cyberquake and came out of nowhere!! Especially for those of us that live in West Hollywood. I have my ear to the ground and some great sources... AND TRUST, I DON'T POST ON A GOOD AMOUNT THAT I HEAR ABOUT--IT'S JUST TOO JUICY AND SCANDALOUS!!! Maybe I need to do more blind items--hmmm.
Anyway, I usually see Chaz at least once a week around town and I had no idea that gender was such a big issue. His face never showed this internal struggle. Bono was always so friendly and pleasant around every one as I noticed from afar.
Bono never acted condescending or self entitled like some of today's Hollywood offspring (want me to throw some names?) -- and God knows Bono is born into one of the biggest names in the business. Chaz sure could act like BIG ASSHOLE but he is so friendly, reserved and somewhat shy and very soft spoken. Today's pap seeking, inappropriate classless hacktresses could learn so much from Bono.
For someone like Chaz to come forward and discuss this is, we all need to truly take a moment to reflect.
To have this surgery, I feel for Chaz because he must never have felt great in his own body and skin. Imagine looking at yourself in the mirror day after day and hating your image and wanting to be someone else. That is hard to grip much less discuss with your parents and your close friends. I admire the courage Chaz has and wish nothing but the best and the strength after the operation to become the man he so desires.
I've been in public events and Bono was in my presence and I had no idea all the torment and torture this soul must have had to endure on a daily basis-- just to even get out of bed for a day can be a struggle. Never did Chaz's face show this torment or sadness. I hope after all this , he is truly happy!!
