Vending machines have really upped the ante from the olden days of just selling soda pop.
You can buy swimsuits (The Standard) and iPods (Macys) from them these days.
But in Germany, you can buy gold bars in one gram, ten gram and gold coin increments.
Prices fluctuate by the hour depending where the price of gold stands on the open market.
The Frankfurt Airport houses the first of these machines, with 500 more to follow throughout Germany and the UK.
With real estate and stock portfolios plunging-- gold still remains the utmost solid investment, just like medieval times.
Talk about a Midas investment touch available to all, we likey.
