Aren't fashion designers supposed to study their craft and actually know how to design?
Didn't Donna Karan attend Parsons and work for Anne Klein for years before launching her own line?
Didn't Pierre Cardin work for years under Christian Dior before striking out on his own?
This news should make every legitimate designer cringe:
That ShamWow idiot Vince Schlomi wants to branch out with a swimwear line.
Ick... he just wants to leer and fondle those models--barf! Creep.
He's even hired that** shudder** Lizzie Grubman to handle the PR. Can it get any more repulsive??
Schlomi sat right next to Grubman attending some shows for fashion week.
There are students at Parsons and FIT that would love to be sitting where he is and really appreciating the experience.
It goes to show you, the most UNDESERVING always have the sun shining on them.
