It made us sick to our stomachs to learn that model Fernando Fernandes was involved in a bad car accident this past July.
He was really making his mark in the modeling world. He's one of the faces that greet you in the D&G Anthology fragrance ads that are in all the September fashion issues this month.
He lost control of his car and hit a tree. The accident has left him paralyzed. He cannot move from the waist down. A spinal injury and a fractured vertebra to be exact.
We are so very sad at hearing this.
The 28 -year- old did give an interview after the accident, it is posted below. We think it is in Portuguese. If any readers know what they are saying, please feel free to post a summary in the comment section.
We wish Fernando well and hope his physical therapy gets him back to full capacity.
