SAD DAY FOR PRINT

These were our two favorite covers and pictorials of all time:

Say bah-bye....

It's a sad day for print because you will have to get your rocks off some other way.

According to Queerty, Regent Media has decided to shutter two of its titles under their umbrella:  Men and Freshmen.  The site is also reporting that half of Unzipped Media's staff was let go.

It was just a matter of time that this happened.  As we all know, the internet is the number one medium for adult entertainment.

Would online versions of the print magazine work?  Or is that just throwing good money after bad?

Regent/Here Media also own hereTV, Out and The Advocate.  Are those titles safe?

UPDATE:

Men and Freshmen will go quarterly.

Unzipped publisher Dustin Tyner released this presser to the site  Xbiz:

"This isn't a matter of the magazines not doing well....But if you look at the number of pages we currently put out per month, we're producing more than Vanity Fair. So we are taking a long view of the market and adapting the properties in order to keep these brands alive for many years to come."
