HAS IT BEEN THAT LONG?

When the USA launched Voyager I and II in 1977, scientist included a gold record with engravings about our planet Earth.

Basic drawings of humans, evolution, math equations, recordings and various pictures telling the story of our planet to whatever alien beings may encounter Voyager.

After 30+ years, scientists are calculating that the craft may just now be exiting our solar system and embarking on uncharted, unmanned  outer space.

Exciting huh?
