An iconic san Fran cable car will be dedicated to Harvey Milk. We love SF's cable cars.
The Milk took the mode of transport daily at his 9-5er as SF supervisor in 1978.
411: The streetcar ceremony will be 11 am tomorrow at 17th/Castro streets. THe streetcar was originally made for Philadelphia and bought by San Fran in 1992. The cable car will run on the F-line. You take the F to go Castro and the F will take you along Market to Fisherman's Wharf.
We love the Peet's coffee kiosk outside at Macy's. That's our favorite stop for coffee in SF.
We love SF...we really did leave our heart in SF during our visits to the city; the city took our heart not the MENSES. The Castro men esp. at Crossroads were rude. We can serve that same attitude too darlings (esp. since we come from ground zero attitude, LA) but we were on vacation and weren't hating.
