Just look at our pay off with Nole Cakes. We invested in the lad (on looks alone, HA!!) in 2004 and now, he is coming into his prime in 2011 with 4-straight wins (Australian Open, Dubai, Indian Wells and Sony Ericsson) this year.
Oh, we kid...but USA Today did an interesting article on what stocks turned $10,000 into $100,000 in just 2 years. Can readers guess? No not Ford, not Apple, not Coca-Cola.
But these companies made some serious cash for investors in just two years:
•Crocs (CROX), up 1347% •Gulfport Energy (GPOR), up 1,227% •ION Geophysical (IO), up 1,098% •Ruby Tuesday (RT), up 1,072% •Buckeye Technologies (BKI) , up 1,059% •KapStone Paper and Packaging (KS), up 1,036% •SFN Group (SFN), up 1,024% •Veeco Instruments (VECO) , up 1,017% •La-Z-Boy (LZB), up 1,016% •Genworth (GNW), up 993% •Sonic Automotive (SAH), up 906%
Uck!! We can't believe Crocs are some serious business. Crunching this data tells us that America likes to take their fat asses to Ruby Tuesday and all that fat needs a cushy ugly shoe like Crocs then they take their fat asses home and chill on their La-Z-Boys!! Geez, we guess investing on looks can make you some money!!
