The New York Times is crafting an article for Sunday's edition on Bruno and if he is bad for the gays.
Two groups are very vocal about the Sacha Baron Cohen imaginative figure: GLAAD and HRC.
GLAAD claimed to The Grey Lady that the Bruno movie is "well meaning" and "problematic in may places and outright offensive in others."
HRC pontificated that the audience is savvy enough to see the satire and the message of the movie but still HRC insist that the movie should have some type of disclaimer that runs before the movie begins. Something along the lines:
We strongly feel that Sacha Baron Cohen and Universal Pictures have a responsibility to remind the viewing public right there in the theater that this is intended to expose homophobia.
