We already have our own moms, and they are all FABULOUS.

But if we didn't and we're asked to choose one.....

Her decisiveness, refinement and drive. That archive of fashion knowledge.

We would SO already have a well-heeled foot in the door for working at VOGUE and Conde Nast!!

5. Gloria Vanderbilt

Oh the stories. The family history.

6. Donna Karan

Her design genius. The business savvy. That mind.

7. Rachel Maddow

The political brainiac. Can you imagine the wonderful dinner conversation every night? Her quick response and resourcefulness. Love her. Plus the benefit of two mommies!!

8. Joan Rivers

That quick wit. The insight of doing QVC before any other celebrity and making a ton of dough at it. The Manhattan penthouse!!

9. Ricky Lauren

That DNA. And dad would be Ralph Lauren. Hello.
