In that same USA Weekend circular, Bear Grylls (Man vs. Wild) opens up:
What really terrifies him: Saltwater crocodiles. Grylls calls them "the most formidable predator on our planet. They really are monsters. I was on a raft, and I had one burst out of the water and grab a fish I was just hauling in. I was very lucky it started to go for this big fish and not me."
