The buzz is that the California Supreme Court plans to hand down their decision tomorrow, Thursday, on Proposition 8 , which bars same-sex couples to marry
Barricades are surfacing in areas like the Castro and the Supreme Court building in San Francisco and around in San Diego.
Day of Decision.com has list of cities that plan to hold rallies around the nation about the decision.
Los Angeles will hold a rally and March in West Hollywood, Thursday at 7pm and the march starts at Santa Monica Blvd/ San Vicente Blvd.
The theme is white: White ribbons to tie knots along the march path. White flowers to lay at the Matthew Shepard Human Rights Park. White chalk to write messages on the sidewalks and roads. Wear white to represent unity. Signs and bullhorns are encouraged so that we are heard and our messages our present.
New York: "New Yorkers will be meeting at 6 PM on Thursday, May 21st (should the decision be handed down) at Sheridan Square in Greenwich Village (Christopher Street and Seventh Avenue South) to either protest or celebrate the decision and continue to call for the New York State Senate to pass marriage equality before the end of this legislative session in June. We will meet at Sheridan Square and march to southern steps of Union Square for a rally. We will stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in California and continue to draw attention to the fact that marriage equality should be passed in the Empire State."
