Despite the recession, real estate hard times are unheard of for designer Calvin Klein.
A while back, the designer bought a beautiful spread in Southampton, a 50,000 square foot castle dubbed Dragon's Head.
This week Klein has made some progress on the compound by starting demolition of the castle and many Hamptonites are happy!?
Why? WTF? Is it really that much of an eyesore or were other property owners just HATERS because they couldn't afford 50,000 square feet medieval abodes?? Or maybe it's too gauche of a property for conservative and uptight Southampton.
I think the castle is beautiful, why all the animosity for Dragon's Head?
It's not every day a retail king really can live like royalty in the USA!!!
