The man who stood for change during his campaign pledge as a pre President nominee has kept quiet during his first 5 months of his Presidential tenure on LGBT issues.
And the White House kept silent on yesterday's ruling by the California Supreme Court to support Prop H8TE.
The President will face demonstrators at tonight's fundraiser for the Democratic Party at the Beverly Hilton.
The group: Courage Campaign will schedule the protest outside of the hotel at Santa Monica and Wilshire.
Courage Campaign group promises to: "Let's take this opportunity, just one day after the CA Supreme Court makes its decision on Proposition 8, to show our President our support for his daring promise to our community and to highlight the growing movement towards FULL FEDERAL EQUALITY."
Other attendees of the demonstration outside will be Lt. Dan Choi, who was expelled out of the military under "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" and other LGBT servicemembers of the military. The goal for these individuals and what they want to happen from tonight's protest: "They will ask for response from President Obama to the letter signed by 136,000 people asking the president not to fire Lt. Choi by ending DADT."
