A new book is set to claim that John Lennon wanted a gay relationship with his Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney.
In the new 'tell-all' book, John Lennon: The Life, the respected 'Beatles author' also makes a bizarre claim that Lennon also fantasised about sleeping with his own mother.
It's been said that Lennon's widow Yoko Ono and McCartney are both infuriated by the books shocking claims.
British newspaper the Daily Mirror says that both Ono and McCartney had been interviewed and cooperated with the writing of the book, but are now distancing themselves from it.
Ono is said to have withdrawn her initial endorsement of the book over the gay claims.
