In a celebration of the President's first 100 days, the news media from all mediums were at President Barack Obama's third press confrence last night at the White House.

A list of subjects checked off that were inquired: Swine flu, check. Abortion, check. Immigration, check.

What subject was not even touched on **cue cricket noise here.**

You guessed it, Gay Rights. Not one reporter asked about the new life lately in the gay civil rights movement. It is causing a tsunami effect across the nation that has been swelling since the seventies. And of course, President Obama wasn't going to bring it up on his own.

We guess that the civil rights movement that resulted in his placement at the White House is not the same civil rights movement that we gays are fighting today for a better tomorrow!!

The US House passed the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act passed by 249-175. This is also dubbed The Matthew Shepard Act. The bill now chugs along to the Senate.

In the Des Moines Register, an anti-gay letter penned by Judy and Karl Schowengerdt as a "guest column" is backed by Chuck Hurley's Iowa Family Policy Center. The letter discusses the Schowengerdt's oldest son being "recruited into the homosexual lifestyle and dying of AIDS as he was rejected by the homosexuals who "recruited" him.

Here's just a sample of the writing: "For years, my wife and I have watched the media and homosexual activists work together to redefine family and marriage in our society.
