Breaking News: House Judiciary Committee OKs Hate Crimes Bill

With a vote of 15-12, the House Judiciary Committee sends Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009 (H.R. 1913, or The Matthew Shepard Act) to the full Congress for a vote.
