SOME WON'T VOTE AT ALL--STILL

Hillary Clinton's speech in Denver last night may not have swayed her most ardent supporters:

Clinton's performance fell far short of the panacea the Democratic Party had desperately hoped for, delegates said. Some worried that, after Clinton's public withdrawal, more voters might defect for Republican John McCain or simply stay home.
"I'm not going to vote for Obama. I'm not going to vote for McCain, either," said Blanche Darley, 65, a Texas delegate for Clinton. Darley wore a button saying "Obamination Scares the Hell Out of Me."
"We love her, but it's our vote if we don't trust him or don't like him," said Darley, who was a superdelegate for Bill Clinton in the 1990s.
Weeping, Dawn Yingling, a 44-year-old single mother from Indianapolis, said that the speech was "fabulous" but that she still isn't going to work for the Obama campaign. "She was fabulous, nothing less than I expected. It's hard to sit here and think about she would have accomplished. We're not stupid — we're not going to vote for John McCain," she said. But she'll limit her campaigning to a House candidate. "It will take a Congress as well as a president. That's what I can do and be true to who I am."

Were YOU WOWED by Hillary???

She rallied the troops for Barack Obama last night, emphatically stating, "Barack Obama is my candidate, and he must be our president."

Clinton continued thanking her supporters and highlighting the hard fought primary battle.  After the introduction by Chelsea, Hillary hit her bullet points of what threatens the nation:  global warming, a sagging economy, and outrageous oil prices.

She states that these problems can only be fixed by a democratic president.

She even gives a shout  out to "the gays":

[We want] to fight for an America that is defined by deep and meaningful equality, from civil rights to labor rights, from women's rights to gay rights from ending discrimination to promoting unionization, to providing help for the most important job there is, caring for our families, and to help every child live up to his or her God-given potential, to make America once again a nation of immigrants and of laws, to restore fiscal sanity to Washington, and make our government an institution of the public good, not of private plunder.

We need leaders once again who can tap into that special blend of American confidence and optimism that has enabled generations before us to meet our toughest challenges, leaders who can help us show ourselves and the world that with our ingenuity, creativity, and innovative spirit, there are no limits to what is possible in America.
Now, this will not be easy. Progress never is. But it will be impossible if we don't fight to put a Democrat back into the White House.
We need to elect Barack Obama…

Clinton even had time to attack John McCain, the Republican rival.  She stated he is nothing more than another bush administration:  "...It makes perfect sense that George Bush and John McCain will be together next week in the Twin Cities, because these days they're awfully hard to tell apart."

Clinton took the audience on an exhilarating roller coaster ride of emotions with her speach.  Hillary and her speech writers are brilliant.  She gave a human touch last night filled with sincerity, humor, bravado, and can-do attitude to bring the party closer.  Hillary was a homerun!!!

Will it be enough and will it bring Obama the votes????
